Crestview having a debate with Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, TX

In the first few weeks of September, two schools, Crestview and Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, Texas, conducted a debate competition in their AP World History classes.  Students first gathered historical data around one ruler of the world before 1200 C.E. They then developed an argument around the themes of AP World History to argue why they were the best ruler.  Next, they debated within their classes to decide on a class champion.

Thursday, September 16 was the culmination of the project where the champions of both schools used a virtual meeting to debate each other during class time.  Ashleigh Hodge impersonated Egyptian Queen Hatshepsut and Jozsi Antony from Byshop Lynch impersonated King Asoka of India.
