Kindergarten Summer School (Success By Six)

Would you like your child to be better prepared for Kindergarten? If so, we have just the right program for your child. Crestview Elementary will be hosting the first ever Success By Six program here at the elementary school. Success By Six is sponsored by the United Way and truly allows the students heading into kindergarten a head start. The program will target basic skills, social/emotional needs, and allow the students to get to know the building, which will increase their overall wellbeing before entering Kindergarten. The program runs four days a week, for four weeks, beginning on July 19th from 8:00am - 11:30am, Monday through Thursday. If you feel your child would benefit from this program, please clink on the link (Success By Six) to sign up or call the elementary office at 330-482-5370 for more information.

Crestview Collaborates with Urgent Care

The Crestview District Local Board of Education, at the May 12th meeting, authorized the Superintendent to finalize contract with Quick Med Urgent Care beginning in the 2021 - 2022 school year. The clinic will be in operation from 7:30 - 3:30 PM daily and will enhance services to students and families. A Nurse Practitioner will be here and can run tests, for Strep, COVID-19, UTI and a variety of other conditions. They can prescribe medications and continue to assist in community wellness. Quick Med staff will work in conjunction with our nursing staff.

Children will see our nurses first. If the condition warrants, parents can choose whether they want their child to see Quick Med or not. The service offers convenience and may assist in lowering absenteeism. They will bill insurance as would any medical provider; however, they will also see the uninsured at zero cost. In addition, they will do our drug testing and will provide a FREE sports physical for our student athletes.
