MVAC Athletes of the Week Jan 23rd-28th

Coaches Quote:  “Myer is a hard worker and high-character person and teammate. She made some great hustle plays to help us pull away from Lowellville this week and has been a key contributor to our 16-2 start. She is an excellent shooter and smart player who has greatly improved her defense throughout the season. I’m excited to watch her continue to improve,” according to head coach Aaron Blatch.

Crestview Alumni & Author Kathy Schulz Presents

Tuesday, January 31st, Crestview students in grades 5-12 will be fortunate to hear Crestview alumni Kathy Schulz present. Earlier this month Ms. Schulz published a book on the underground railroad and the significance our area, our county specifically, played a role in.  Ms. Schulz graduated from Crestview High School in what is now the middle school building in 1968, and was valedictorian of her senior class.

Kathy Schulz will be presenting at Columbiana Public Library and Salem Historical Society at upcoming dates to the general public. Please check their websites for more information.

Disney's The Little Mermaid Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid

The Crestview High School Theatre Program will present
THE LITTLE MERMAID on March 17th and 18th at 7:00 PM and on March 19th at 2:00 PM in the Crestview Performing Arts Center.

Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World."

Ariel, King Triton's youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric in the world above, bargaining with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull, and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea.

Pre-Sale ticketing begins on Wednesday, February 1st and ends on Wednesday, March 15th. Tickets will be available at the door 30 minutes prior to the beginning of each performance.
