  • The Crestview Local Schools are allowed to have 5 Calamity Days without having to make-up school days. Currently we have had 6 Calamity Days and have implemented Blizzard bag # 1.  Blizzard bags are classroom work to be done at home on calamity days 6,7, and 8. We realize that some students may not have internet access; therefore, students will have a few days to complete assignments upon our return to school. Learning is a process that never stops. We hope that every student is reading and growing their mind on a snow day. We also hope, that as kids, they do some sledding or skating too, if temperatures allow. If we would ever get to a 9 days of school closure, then we would need to make-up those days. The first make-up day for 2018-19 school year is the Monday after Easter on April 22, 2019. In case of a calamity day, the first place to read about the closure is at the Superintendent’s Instagram (rebel.supt) and Twitter (@RebelSupt). The second posting occurs through our E-Communications. Please sign-up at our website. You will find that tab in the left column of the main page. You can also sign-up for many other items like athletic postponements. This is very efficient, as you get a text or email directly to your phone or computer. The last place the message is posted is tv and radio.
