Schools are a part of many layers of life that are affected by COVID-`19. We have adjusted and everyone in the schools and community has assisted us in meeting the needs of our students. It is a remarkable time of change, flexibility, and many unknowns. We are here to support our kids
I know my world was rocked by Governor DeWine this week. I think most of us expected that school may not return this year. I think what surprised me the most is he told schools to begin looking at options for blended learning in the fall. ARTICLE . I usually try to be an optimist; however, that comment hit me hard. Will we see our kids? Can we ever get back to normal? I know I and our staff cannot wait for their return.
At this juncture no one knows. We just need to try to plan for every scenario. Hopefully, fall of 2020 will bring back learning in school buildings. if that is not possible, the Crestview Local Schools will be ready to deliver the best possible education in any format.
Right now, Dr. Acton and Governor DeWine have relied on sound scientific information to guide us. I know we will attempt to follow their guidelines for the safety of the Rebel nation. Learning and School are so important; however, life is the most important aspect on earth. I and we miss our kids, but our goal is to see them and their families be safe and healthy. We all have many happy memories ahead. Thank you all for working with us through this difficult time and we look forward to singing the Alma Mater together as one Rebel Nation.
