They will perform Saturday Night at Paul Brown Stadium in Massilion. You can watch them practice for FREE!

The Boston Crusaders are a member of the Drum Corps International organization that sponsors competitions across the country each summer. The participants in each of these organizations range in age from 14 to 21 and tour the the United States sleeping on gym floors and tour buses while rehearsing 10 to 12 hours each day to perfect their performances.

This is one of the best drum and bugle corps (VERY intense version of a marching band) in the world. All rehearsals are free and open to the public! Please come and see great marching music happening in your own backyard!!!

MS & HS Rebels invited to join the All American Conference

AAC

On Tuesday,June 6, 2017, the All American Conference held a morning meeting and unanimously voted to extend an official invitation to the Crestview Rebels to the blue tier of the All American Conference. The Superintendent will be recommending to the school board at the June 14th meeting that we accept this invitation. The blue tier is comprised of schools in the Youngstown area that have district enrollments between 1150 and 1383 students. We would be the 3rd largest school in the conference; thus it is a good fit. We currently play some of these of these schools next year. The schools are:Campbell, Liberty, Brookfield, Labrae, Newton Falls, Champion and Edgewood. The invitation is to begin play officially for winter sports 2018 (18-19 school year). Football contracts are signed for two years and thus the schools already have contracts for fall of 17 & 18. The AD's will be working with the AAC to schedule us on their independent dates where openings allow through the fall of 2018.

Free Meals for students in Need during the summer

Spread the word: Kids eat free this summer!

5/22/2017

Again this summer, the Summer Food Service Program is providing children with free, healthy meals, and we need your help spreading the word to families and students. It's easy to participate and no sign up is required. Simply call (866) 3-HUNGRY, visit education.ohio.gov/KidsEat or download the free Ohio Department of Education mobile app for iPhone and Android and check back regularly to find meal times and locations.

We have started adding sites to our online map, and more locations and times will be added soon. Continue to check back in the coming weeks for new locations in your community.

The program ensures children ages 18 and younger continue to receive nutritious meals during the summer break from school, when they do not have access to school breakfasts or lunches. Children with disabilities who are on approved individualized education programs may participate through age 21. The Ohio Department of Education administers the program with funding from the U.S. Department of Education.

Track Closed until August 2017 for repairs

The track is currently under resurfacing/reconstruction. We respectfully ask that no one use the track or football field until all work is completed, near the end of July, even if a gate is open, as there are heavy duty equipment trucks in and out. If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Nappi in the Athletic Department at 330 892-3116 or the Board office at 330 482-5526
