Crestview Lady Rebels Softball team

The Crestview Lady Rebels Softball team hosted a tripleheader on Saturday, March 30th with Girard and Ravenna Southeast.  Two hundred dollars plus canned goods and miscellaneous items were donated from the three schools to the Crestview Churches Community Concerns (4C’s). The 4C’s started 33 years ago to help area residents with their financial needs. They have become a partner with Second Harvest Food Bank of Mahoning County. The money raised will supply them with $2,100 worth of food. The 4C’s buys 30-35 tons of food from the Food Bank a year, along with purchasing supplies at local stores. They serve approximately 2800-3000 people each year and operate solely on donations.  The check and items were delivered to the food pantry by Crestview senior captains Haley Eskra, Olivia Strank, Baylie Bettura, and Skyler Mattern, shown with Linda Allender from the 4C’s.
